Micah John Tarry
PARTNER
Micah is a proud fourth-generation Tylerite who is active in his community. He received his Bachelor's in Psychology and Master of Social Work with a specialization in economic development from Baylor University before receiving his Juris Doctor from Oklahoma City University School of Law. He is partner at the law firm Tarry & Hene, PLLC, specializing in real estate and business law and is President & CEO of Tarry Title, Inc. with locations in Tyler, Mineola, Longview, and Athens, Texas.
Micah is active in his community by currently serving as a Director of the Smith County Bar Foundation, a Director of the Camp Tyler Foundation, and as a Board Member on the Airport Advisory Board for the City of Tyler. In the past, he served as Chairman of the Smith County Appraisal Review Board, President, Vice President, and Treasurer of the Smith County Bar Association, and as President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer of the Smith County Young Lawyer’s Association. Micah was a member of Leadership Tyler Class 29 and has served on its Selections Committee.

John Morrison
PARTNER
John Morrison earned a BBA in Accounting and a Master of Taxation from Baylor University. He holds both a Texas Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license and a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) certification. He is also a Real Estate Broker and is an active participant in several professional and charitable organizations.
Jon has worked both in public accounting and corporate financial leadership. Prior to founding The Morrison Firm, he spent six years in various leadership positions within a multi-billion-dollar real estate fund, ultimately serving as the Chief Executive for several years. During his careen John has managed or transacted over 1 billion in Real Estate assets and participated in over 100 1031 Exchanges. Throughout his career, Mr. Morrison has used his financial insight and knowledge of tax law to assist his clients through their toughest challenges with outstanding results.
